Since the Fall of 2006, All Saints has freed their pastor, Tyler Gingrich, to offer campus ministry at University of British Columbia – Okanagan (UBCO). In conversation with the local United Church presbytery, and the Anglican Diocese of Kootenay – and, of course, with the blessing of the BC Synod of the ELCIC – the campus ministry is offered on behalf of Lutheran, Anglican, and United churches.

Once students were aware that Tyler was interested in engaging with them around issues of social justice and the environment, there was added interest and the campus club, “Peace Seekers,” was formed.
The university does not have a campus chaplaincy service, so the club offers Tyler a way to participate in campus life. He volunteers in the Pride Centre (UNC 132), and that relationship has also made it possible for students to find him on campus!
As Peace Seekers does not receive financial support from UBC Okanagan, its work, and Tyler’s time, is funded solely through All Saints.
